Q1: Are the courses Cutting Edge Institute Worldwide offers approved by the state licensing authority?

A1: Yes. Cutting Edge Institute Worldwide is an approved real estate school by the Georgia Real Estate Commission for the purpose of offering salesperson pre-license, broker pre-license, post-license, and continuing education courses. Our school approval code is 6974 and the renewal date is December 31, 2018.

 

Q2: Will online courses work on my computer?

A2: Click here to access course demos and review the system requirements for each of our reputable vendors.

 

Q3: Can I purchase my courses on CD-ROM?

A3: Cutting Edge Institute Worldwide only offers online courses that are accessible via the Internet.

 

Q4: What happens once I enroll myself in an online class?

A4: You should receive an e-mail confirming your order. • OnCourse Learning courses can be accessed via the website www.mycoursepage.com.

 

Q5: Do I need to buy textbooks?

A5: Online courses do not require textbooks. The cost of books and materials are not included in tuition and supplemental material is sold through the school if you need it.

 

Q6: Is my online course timed?

A6: Your course must be completed within 180 days from the date of purchase. A maximum of three extensions may be purchased(if applicable), each extending the course 60 days from the expiration date. Many computer-based courses require a timed and/or proctored final exam after completion.

 

Q7: Can I switch to an in-class course if I don’t like the online course version?

A7: The money paid for an online course is not transferable to an in-class course.

 

Q8: Can I get a refund after I’ve purchased the course?

A8: ONLINE COURSE FEES: Continuing Education and Post-license online course fees are non-refundable. Pre-license online course fees are refundable within three (3) calendar days of purchase. No refunds will be made after three (3) calendar days of purchase. IN-CLASS COURSE FEES: In-class course fees are non-refundable. Tuition is valid for one (1) year from enrollment date. A transfer fee applies to students who need to reschedule.

 

Q9: Is there someone I can call if I need help with my course?

A9: Should you have questions regarding the content of a real estate course, the Director of Education, Raynae Taylor 404.920.8613, will be glad to assist you. She can be reached during business hours: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday excluding holidays.

 

Q10: What happens if I fail the final exam for my course?

A10: To pass the exam and complete the course, you must make a score of 75% or better on the written course final exam. If you fail the course exam, you may retake the exam one time, no sooner than one day after failing it the first time. All testing must be completed within one (1) year from the date of purchase. You may review any course material as desired as preparation for retaking the exam. If you fail to achieve a passing score on a second examination, you must repeat all course instruction before taking another examination.
